Margarida has dedicated her career to helping early stage founders. She spent over 10 years working in ops and finance roles, scaling teams and helping founders fundraise.
She is currently a Principal at Beacon investing in early-stage enterprise companies pre-Series A and offering liquidity to founders post-Series A. Prior to that, she spent over 2 years as interim Financial Director of several consumer and enterprise companies helping them raise rounds of $2m-60m. Previously she was COO at Lifebit growing the team 4x in 6 months and at source(d), a developer tools startup, she led a commercial team of 12.
Alex is the COO of Startup Valencia, and the driving force behind Valencia Digital Summit - an international meeting point for technology, innovation, entrepreneurs, startups, investors, corporations and institutions.
Carlos García has more than 20 years of experience in the ICT sector, both in the national and international markets.
His main area of activity has been to develop and implement technology projects, as well as business development in different multinationals, including INDRA and British Telecom.
He is currently Director of OASIX, the Cloud and Datacenter division of Grupo Aire. He is a vocal member of the board of directors of GAIA-X Spain and Mentor leader in Technovation Challenge (San José – California).
As a director of national and international companies, he has extensive experience in creating and managing high-performance organizations. Including international projects to help and encourage the development of STEM skills in groups of girls. In this sense, we won the final of the Technovation Challenge in San José – California in 2019.
Currently his interest is focused on the development of OASIX, where we are developing clouds with holistic and intelligent management technologies, to build energetically sustainable DC Federations, based on new distributed cloud ideas.
