Investment thesis
CRV invests at seed and Series A in enterprise and consumer technology companies, working from San Francisco and Palo Alto. Founded in 1970, it has backed DoorDash, Airtable, Patreon, Mercury and Vercel among others. The firm says it avoids pattern matching and playbooks, and works with founders on hiring, reaching customers and deciding what to protect and what to change as a company takes shape.
