How the taxonomy works
Families exist for navigation only - there is no family page, because it would just be a shallower version of the verticals underneath it. Every vertical belongs to exactly one family, and a company belongs to exactly one vertical, filed by its revenue rather than its ambition.
A vertical earns a full desk when it clears the coverage floor: enough tracked companies, enough verified rounds and enough active investors to make a table worth sorting. Below that floor a vertical still gets its pillar page - but we do not publish a funding table with a handful of rows. Foodtech is the worked example of a full desk.
Country-scoped pages are a separate axis, not a new vertical. A country filter on a cohort table exists where the data clears the same floor, and nowhere else.
