Every list on this page is computed from records we hold, not compiled from opinion or from submissions. Each one publishes its own formula, and each one names what it excluded and why - a ranking that hides its exclusions is asking to be trusted rather than checked.
Nobody can pay to appear on any of them, and nobody can pay to be removed. Where a list involves our own events or our own programme, that is disclosed on the list itself.
Most active investors in European tech
Ranked by the number of rounds we hold a verified claim for. A fund appears only if at least one of those rounds closed in the last 6 months - a deal count on its own rewards funds that were busy three years ago and have written nothing since. Ties go to whoever led more of their rounds, then to whoever wrote most recently.
