The Concurso de Pitch is the competition attached to Canarias Destino Startup, held at the Auditorio Alfredo Kraus in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

It is open to entrepreneurs, individuals or legal entities, of legal age, legally established or registered as self-employed, of any nationality, who are seeking third-party funding and investment. Entries are judged on investability, feasibility, scalability, team, innovation, funding history and regional impact.

The best startup takes EUR 10,000 in cash, awarded in the name of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, alongside EUR 3,000 sponsor runner-up prizes (sustainable, social and medical categories in past editions), and participants pitch in front of investors and strategic players at the event. No equity is taken. Entries for 2026 closed on 22 July 2026; the fourth edition runs 7-9 October 2026.
