The Call for Start-up fills the Innovation District at Ecomondo, the green technology fair at the Rimini Expo Centre.
It is open to innovative start-ups and SMEs registered in the special section of the Italian Business Register, with a prototype or MVP and either a completed seed round or active B2B operations with clients, working on green-tech solutions across Ecomondo's themes. Companies already selected for the 2025 Ecomondo Innovation District are not eligible.
Twenty places are on offer. Each brings an exhibition station with desk, stool and branded signage, official exhibitor status and a listing in the online catalogue, access to the one-to-one business meeting platform, two exhibitor badges, 50 invitation tickets and one parking pass, plus networking with investors and venture capitalists. No equity is taken, but admission carries an administrative fee of EUR 820 plus VAT. The 2026 call is announced as open with no closing date published; the 29th edition takes place 3-6 November 2026.
