This open call is attached to Foro Transfiere, the knowledge and technology transfer forum held at FYCMA in Malaga.

It is open to European startups working in deep tech — advanced technologies with high barriers to entry that require deep scientific knowledge. Entries are judged on market viability, scalability, social and environmental impact, deep tech content and the capability of the team.

Five startups reach the final phase. They win a cash prize plus a place in the following Transfiere edition through the content programme, and access to the networking agenda. No equity is taken. The sixth call, tied to Transfiere 2026 (24-26 February 2026), closed on 24 November 2025; the next call is announced on forotransfiere.com ahead of Transfiere 2027, which runs 10-12 March 2027.
