The Startup Competition is run by South Summit in Madrid. It accepts early-stage and growth-stage companies from any sector and any country, provided they have a viable business model, apply in English and attend in person.
One hundred finalists each receive three Startup Passes, a three-minute pitch before a jury of leading investors and corporates, investor matchmaking, pitching and fundraising training, and a discounted demo booth. No equity is taken.
Applications for the Madrid 2027 edition are open and close on 31 January 2027.
