Investment thesis
BGF provides patient minority growth capital to established small and mid-sized companies across the United Kingdom and Ireland, and separately backs deep tech and life sciences startups from late seed to Series B. It never takes a controlling stake and works with management teams on acquisitions, internationalisation, go-to-market, hiring, data and ESG. Since 2011 it has deployed more than £5 billion across over 650 companies and offers follow-on funding.
