Investment thesis
ISAI calls itself the French Tech entrepreneurs' fund. Founded in 2009 by Pierre Kosciusko-Morizet, Geoffroy Roux de Bezieux, Ouriel Ohayon, Stephane Treppoz and Christophe Raynaud, and run from Paris, it is funded by more than 430 tech entrepreneurs who invest their own capital and experience alongside institutional LPs. It manages close to EUR 1.1 billion across four strategies: early-stage venture, corporate venture with partners such as Capgemini and Bouygues, growth and buyout, and growth lending. ISAI Venture IV writes EUR 1-3 million as lead or co-lead, with a pre-seed pocket from EUR 100,000, and concentrates on capital-efficient SaaS and marketplace models, AI and decarbonisation. More than 80 percent of what it backs is in France. Portfolio companies include BlaBlaCar, Malt, 360Learning, Alma, Flowdesk, Platform.sh and Koyeb.
