Investment thesis

Kfund is a Madrid venture capital firm investing in technology companies in Spain, southern Europe and Latin America, with cheques from 100,000 to 10 million euros. Its portfolio spans AI, fintech, healthtech, logistics, foodtech and supply chain software. The team is drawn from former founders and operators, and it backs contrarian teams building new categories on simple, readable terms.

Kfund is a Madrid-based venture firm founded in 2016 by Inaki Arrola and Ian Noel that invests across Southern Europe with the tagline ‘From Southern Europe to the world’. Its own site states it invests EUR 100k to EUR 10M in technology-based products and services. In 2024 it raised K3, a EUR 70M vehicle described as its sixth fund, focused on foundational technologies, data, AI and platform businesses from pre-seed to Series B. Portfolio companies include Amenitiz, Abacum, HappyRobot, Bdeo and Barkibu; Arengu was acquired by Okta.
