Investment thesis
Mercia Ventures is the venture capital arm of Mercia Asset Management, investing in UK companies from Series A onwards across AI and software, consumer, deep tech and life sciences. It writes initial cheques of up to £10 million and is deliberately active in regions outside London. The team looks for validated products addressing defensible problems and supports founders with patient capital and a hands-on platform team through to international scale.
