Omnes Capital

Paris, France · Founded 1999

Investment thesis

Omnes Capital is a French private-assets manager founded in 1999 as Credit Lyonnais Venture Capital, renamed Credit Agricole Private Equity in 2004 and made independent in March 2012 through a management buyout in which Coller Capital became sole outside shareholder. It runs from Paris with offices in Brussels, Munich and Zurich, employs more than 70 professionals and manages over EUR 6.7 billion for more than 100 institutional investors across 17 countries. The firm is organised around four franchises: energy-transition infrastructure (the Capenergie series, roughly EUR 4.4 billion), digital infrastructure and data centres, co-investment (about EUR 780 million raised since 2008), and venture capital and growth. The venture franchise, roughly EUR 650 million and led by managing partner Michel de Lempdes, has made around 50 deeptech investments with 35 exits, including Novaled to Samsung and EVE to Synopsys. Its dedicated vehicle Omnes Real Tech backed The Exploration Company, Sekoia.io, Quandela and Quantum Systems; Omnes Real Tech 2 held a EUR 112 million first close in July 2025 towards a EUR 200 million target and was the first European fund to draw on the EU Defence mandate. It writes initial cheques of EUR 5-7 million into 20-25 early-growth companies with revenue or a filled order book, across defence and security, artificial intelligence, new space, quantum, electronic components and advanced materials, weighted to France, Germany, Italy and the Nordics. The firm has also backed life-sciences and health names such as Iktos, Therapixel, SeqOne Genomics and Qubit Pharmaceuticals.
