Playground Global invests at the earliest stages of company formation, backing technical founders in next-generation compute including quantum and AI acceleration, automation and robotics, the energy transition and engineered biology. Based in Palo Alto, the firm looks for breakthrough science and says that if a company is too early for everyone else it is probably right for them, describing its range as somewhere between improbable and impossible.
