RoboIT is Italy’s national technology transfer hub for robotics, launched in 2021 with EUR 40 million from CDP Venture Capital and managed alongside Pariter Partners. It is not a conventional fund but a two-stage programme: a Tech Incubation track that puts up to EUR 200,000 of convertible investment into research teams, and a Business Creation track that invests up to EUR 1 million of equity into resulting companies. It is anchored at the Italian Institute of Technology in Genoa and works with partner universities across Italy on robotics, industrial automation, surgical and service robots, sensors and autonomous systems.
