Investment thesis
SWEN Blue Ocean is the ocean impact venture strategy of SWEN Capital Partners, launched in 2021 at the IUCN World Conservation Congress and sized at 170 million euros. It invests early in companies working on overfishing, ocean pollution, marine climate change and sustainable aquaculture, from alternative proteins and aquaculture monitoring to shipping decarbonisation. The team works with the French marine research institute Ifremer on scientific diligence and impact measurement.
