Innovation Alley is the curated showcase at Cambridge Tech Week, hosted across the Guildhall and Corn Exchange alongside 80 or more AI, MedTech, HealthTech, ClimateTech and advanced-engineering companies.

It admits startups less than five years old with fewer than 25 employees and angel or seed funding, and scaleups with at least Series A funding and three or more years of revenue. Every application goes through a selection process run by the Cambridge Tech Week steering committee; a place is not automatic.

Stands cost GBP 350 plus VAT for startups and GBP 1,500 plus VAT for scaleups, and bring automatic entry into the CamTechWeek Pitch Competition, where five selected companies pitch on the main Corn Exchange stage to a panel of investors and industry leaders and get national and international media exposure. No equity is taken. The 2026 application window closed at 5pm on 8 June 2026, with applicants notified on 6 July; Innovation Alley runs 16-17 September 2026 during Cambridge Tech Week (14-18 September).
