These awards judge advanced materials and composites work, and the field is wider than a startup competition. Submissions are accepted from any company, university or R&D centre, so a young team is judged against corporate laboratories and academic groups on the same entry.
The reward is a trophy and a showcase at JEC World rather than money, and no equity changes hands.
Entries close on 19 October 2026. JEC World 2027 runs 2-4 March at Paris Nord Villepinte, a tradeshow of around 45,000 attendees run by JEC Group, and that is the audience a showcase reaches.
What it actually costs you
Advanced materials and composites work is judged here, with a trophy and a showcase at JEC World in Paris for the winners. Notably it is not startup-exclusive: entries are accepted from any company, university or R&D centre, so young teams compete against established labs. There is no cash prize and no equity involved.
