Google and BMAT Music Innovators joined as partners for the 2025 edition.
The 2025-26 cohort kicked off at Linecheck in Milan in November 2025. The program combines hybrid mentoring from more than 25 experts, one-to-one meetings, two in-person industry events and investor pitch sessions, and closes at Sónar+D in Barcelona. Selected startups paid a €500 fee. Applications closed on 19 October 2025.
The academy first launched in February 2021 as the first music-tech project under the EU’s Music Moves Europe initiative. Its 2023-2026 cycle has a total budget of €1.2 million.
