The Nordic Fintech Awards are presented at Nordic Fintech Week in Copenhagen across four categories: AI, Growth, New Entry and Impact.
They cover Nordic fintech startups and scaleups. New Entry is restricted to companies founded in 2023 or later with a market-ready solution and proven traction; Growth looks at five-year expansion in customers, funding, team and international reach; AI covers firms embedding AI in core financial products; and Impact covers inclusive, sustainable and community-centred finance. Two finalists are named per category, judged by a panel drawn from Mastercard, Enfuce, Revolut, Citi Ventures and Swedbank. No cash prize is published and no equity is taken; organisers describe the award as a signal to investors, partners and the wider ecosystem.
There is no open application form. Nominations are sourced from Nordic fintech hubs and the wider community, and Copenhagen Fintech curates the shortlist with those hubs. Nordic Fintech Week runs 21-25 September in Copenhagen.
