The ONS Innovation Award is run by ONS, the energy conference and exhibition held in Stavanger.

It is open to energy-sector companies of any size whose innovation addresses an energy-transition challenge. Entries are judged in two categories, large companies and SMEs — the SME category having run since 2004 — by an independent jury chaired by Merete Vadla Madland, Pro-Rector for Research at the University of Stavanger.
