Two global batches run each year, and the winter and spring cohort typically opens for applications in September or October, which is the window to watch.
A batch lasts about twelve weeks and is run out of one of several European hubs. The point of it is the corporate partners: each vertical is backed by companies looking to work with the startups in it, and the verticals cover climate, fintech, health and mobility.
Investment is optional rather than built in. Where a deal is done it runs from USD 25,000 to USD 100,000 through the vertical's own fund, and equity is taken only in that case. A company can therefore complete a batch without diluting at all.
What it actually costs you
Plug and Play runs corporate innovation batches across multiple European hubs, matching startups with the corporate partners backing each vertical. A batch lasts approximately twelve weeks. Investment is optional rather than automatic, ranging from USD 25,000 to USD 100,000 through the relevant vertical fund, so equity is only taken where a deal is done. Verticals cover climate, fintech, health and mobility.
