SaaStock's own competition runs as a knockout across the conference: opening rounds at the pre-conference Startup Day, semi-finals during the event and the final on the main stage. At the 2025 Dublin edition a top 50 pitched on day one, 20 went through on day two and five reached the main-stage final, judged in front of VCs from funds including Octopus Ventures, Antler and Frontline Ventures. The winner took an investment package worth up to EUR 1 million; earlier editions carried a EUR 200,000 package. Finalists also get exposure to the SaaStock investor and operator community. Cheque
The prize is an investment package, so the winning company negotiates terms with the participating funds; SaaStock does not publish a fixed equity stake. Equity
