The call for projects closes on 15 September 2026, more than a year ahead of the ceremony: the awards are presented at Sirha Lyon 2027, which runs 21-25 January 2027 at Eurexpo Lyon.

Entries cover foodservice and hospitality innovation and are judged at the show. Laureates receive the award, a place on the published list of winners, and visibility across the event.

There is no cash element and no equity is involved, so the return is commercial rather than financial. The value lies in reaching restaurant and catering buyers, and a company that cannot use that audience will get little out of winning.

Sirha’s award recognises foodservice and hospitality innovation, judged at the show in Lyon. Laureates receive the award itself, a listing among the winners and visibility across the event. There is no cash prize and no equity involved, which makes it a marketing opportunity for foodtech companies selling into restaurants and catering rather than a source of capital.
