The competition runs at TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco. Selected companies pitch and exhibit as part of the conference programme, and European entrants compete on the same footing as US ones, so the real constraint is the travel rather than the eligibility.
The 2026 cycle closed on 8 June 2026. The 2027 cycle is expected to open in spring 2027, and nothing is live at present.
