The prize is stage time. Selected teams take a slot on the Insights Theatre at Vitafoods Europe in Barcelona and pitch to the show audience. There is no cash award attached, and nothing is taken from the cap table.
The subject matter is narrow, covering nutraceuticals and health ingredients, which is the trade show's own field. The room is therefore drawn from that industry rather than from generalist investors.
