What it is
JEC Group runs the JEC Investor Day on the final day of JEC World 2027, Thursday 4 March, at Paris Nord Villepinte. It describes it as "a unique opportunity for investors to immerse themselves in cutting-edge innovations and establish meaningful connections within the composites industry".
The day is built around one-to-one meetings with the founders of 70+ startups, wrapped in a welcome breakfast, a curated visit of the show floor, a networking cocktail and investor-only content. The 2027 edition also marks the tenth anniversary of the JEC Startup Booster.
It is aimed at venture capitalists, strategic and corporate investors, angels, private equity and institutional fund managers active in advanced materials and composites. The 2026 edition drew more than 15 organisations, among them Arkema, Safran and Syensqo alongside venture firms and corporate innovation funds.
Investors and startups apply through two separate routes. JEC has not published an application deadline for the 2027 edition.
