Rubicon Exploration combines AI, satellite data and geoscience to build dual-use technology. Its main product is AI analytics for synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imagery, which detects and classifies objects and labels terrain in any weather or light, for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.
The company also applies its tools to exploration for natural (geologic) hydrogen. Rubicon is based in Paris, was founded in 2022 and has been incubated at Telecom Paris and the European Space Agency.
