Business Angels FrankfurtRheinMain e.V. was founded in 2000 and is based at Börsenplatz in Frankfurt am Main. It had over 150 member business angels as of end-2020 and runs more than 25 events a year, including matching conferences, investment readiness workshops and awards, making it one of the more active angel networks in Germany. Startups pitch to the membership at regular matching events; roughly 10-20% of presenting companies receive an investment, frequently with several members co-investing and sometimes alongside VC funds. The network is sector-agnostic but runs dedicated tracks for life sciences and eHealth, sustainability and impact, and high-tech ventures. Recent investee companies include WasteSide, Melt-Ing, Twinetic, Lando Health, CHAMELAION and Volateq.

Business Angels FrankfurtRheinMain is a registered business angel association in the Frankfurt Rhine-Main region. Its private investor members back startups from pre-seed through Series B, with recurring interest in life sciences, eHealth, high tech and sustainability. The network runs more than twenty-five pitch and matching events a year and cooperates with the neighbouring Rhineland-Palatinate angel network.
