Investment thesis
FoodSeed is the foodtech accelerator of the national network of CDP Venture Capital, run from Verona. It selects early-stage agrifood and foodtech startups working on primary farming, sustainable distribution, nutrition and clean label, alternative proteins, biotechnology, sustainable packaging and deep tech such as AI, IoT, blockchain and robotics. Each company receives €250,000 and a six-month acceleration programme, with follow-on funding of up to €500,000 for the strongest teams.
