Freston Ventures is the London investment office of Carphone Warehouse co-founders Sir Charles Dunstone and Roger Taylor, based at 146 Freston Road in Notting Hill. It invests the founders’ own capital as growth equity into entrepreneurs and brands that are ready to scale, spanning food and hospitality, fashion and retail, property technology, transport and sustainability. Current and past holdings include Five Guys, ME+EM, Purplebricks, Strike, Chicken Shop and rewilding business Nattergal. The pair’s earlier ventures and investments include Carphone Warehouse, TalkTalk, Best Buy Mobile, Nutmeg, iZettle and Boxpark. It is not a fund and does not publish a fund size or ticket range.
