Concours d’innovation i-Lab 2027 (29e edition)
i-Lab is Bpifrance's public grant competition for deep-tech companies in France, and the coming round is its 29th edition.
It is aimed at the very earliest stage. A company must have been created less than two years ago, or the founder must not yet have incorporated at all, and in either case technical feasibility has to be demonstrated. Awards reach EUR 600,000 as a grant with nothing taken in return, which is a large non-dilutive sum for a company of that age.
Bpifrance lists the 29th edition as due in the first quarter of 2027. The 28th closed on 3 February 2026, which is the best available guide to when the window will open and how long it will stay open.
