EIT Food Accelerator Network (FAN) 2026
Prize money is awarded per hub, not once overall. The top three at each of the six hubs take EUR 50,000, EUR 30,000 and EUR 20,000, so EUR 100,000 is distributed at every location and EUR 600,000 across the network. None of it is exchanged for equity.
Five tests decide eligibility: founded in 2016 or later, at TRL 4 to 8, pre-Series A, under EUR 1M in revenue, and fewer than 20 employees. All five have to hold.
The hubs are Munich, Helsinki, Paris, Warsaw, Catania and Wageningen. Applications for 2026 closed on 14 April 2026 and the cohort runs from September to December 2026, so the programme is under way and no further call has been published.
What it actually costs you
The EIT Food Accelerator Network supports agri-food companies through hubs in Munich, Helsinki, Paris, Warsaw, Catania and Wageningen, with each cohort running across the autumn months. Eligibility is specific: founded 2016 or later, TRL 4 to 8, pre-Series A, under EUR 1M in revenue and fewer than 20 employees. Prize money of EUR 50k, 30k and 20k goes to the top three at each hub, with no equity taken.
