MediaTech Hub Potsdam's accelerator is open to early-stage startups at the intersection of media and technology - data processing, visualisation, interaction and distribution in a broad sense. Applicants need a working MVP with initial traction (users or revenue) and a scalable, mostly B2B SaaS business model (B2C considered); solo founders and teams are both welcome, and the company must be founded or about to be established as a German GmbH, UG or GbR.
The nine-month programme runs two tracks: Bootstrap Seedstrap for sustainable, non-dilutive growth, and Investment Readiness for pitch preparation, financials and investor connections. Founders get individual mentoring, office space at Studio Babelsberg, and access to the media industry's partner and investor network. The programme is equity-free - founders keep full ownership - and pays out no cash prize; the City of Potsdam's founder portal separately notes a possible 3% success fee (capped at EUR 10,000) on funding closed within 18 months of the programme start.
Applications for this cohort opened in September 2026 and close 31 October 2026, 23:59 CET.
