The prize at the PTCH Awards is a route rather than a cheque. The winner goes through to the Startup World Cup grand finale, where a USD 1M investment is on offer on terms set by Pegasus Tech Ventures - an investment, not a grant, and the terms are that fund's to set.
Entry is limited to early-stage companies and requires a Startup OLE ticket, so taking part costs money before any prize is decided.
The awards are handed out at Startup OLE in Salamanca, which runs 13-15 October 2026 at the Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones de Castilla y Leon and draws around 3,600 people. Applications close on 1 October 2026.
