Copenhagen-based Claimlane has raised a €5.6M Series A led by Verb Ventures, with Skagerak Capital and Vendep Capital joining, to build AI agents for warranty and returns cases and to grow in the US.

Verb Ventures leads and two funds follow

Claimlane announced the round on November 5, 2026. Verb Ventures, a London investor that backs marketplace and platform builders, led it. Skagerak Capital and Vendep Capital took part, alongside business angels Mette Høi Davidsen, Nicolaj Reffstrup and Jesper Eiby, according to the company’s announcement.

The money goes to two jobs. The first is a set of AI agents shaped around each customer’s own products, warranty policies, supplier agreements and workflows, with industry-specific capabilities for electronics, furniture and outdoor equipment, per Tech.eu. The second is the US. CEO and co-founder Anders Sommer is moving to Austin, and says the demand from US brands and retailers makes the next move clear.

A 2015 registration and a seed from 2024

Claimlane ApS was registered in Denmark on May 14, 2015, according to the Danish company registry. Its software handles warranty, returns and repair cases: a self-service portal for customers, workflows for case handlers, an AI agent that resolves tickets, analytics that flag recurring product faults, and warranty registration. It connects to ERPs, webshops and helpdesks.

The customer list includes Skechers, Black Diamond, tonies, Hummel, OMHU, BabySam and Rocky Mountain, and the company cites a network of more than 20,000 retailers and brands. Vendep Capital led a €1.8M seed round and says it first backed Claimlane in 2024. The team sits in Copenhagen and London, with an office in Austin.

A US pipeline that doubled in a $10.8bn category

Claimlane sells into the warranty management software market, which one report indexed by GII Research sizes at US$4.4bn in 2023, rising to US$10.8bn by 2030, a 13.9% CAGR (the listing does not name the publisher). The company’s own US figures point the same way. North America is its largest market for new customers this year, US sales opportunities are up 150% year on year, and the value of newly created pipeline has doubled. Timo Felin, Partner at Vendep Capital, says half of Claimlane’s new customers now come from the US.

For scale, this week’s Conlio round was €6.4M, led by Piton Capital, for AI that checks freight paperwork. Both rounds put a mid-size check behind software that takes manual work out of a physical industry’s paperwork. The full set of European rounds sits in our fundraising data.

Why aftersales is where this AI bet lands

What we are seeing is a European software company that grew up with a small home market and found its growth across the Atlantic. The reality is a Danish company whose new customers now arrive, by Vendep’s count, half from the US. The silver lining is that the round comes with a London lead and an investor, Vendep, that has backed the company since 2024, so the push west is financed by people who know the product.

Alexey Bulygin, Principal at Verb Ventures, says “Claimlane’s network and operational role provide a foundation that is difficult to replicate with AI alone.” Imagine if a returns desk could settle a claim before the customer writes a second email. That is the job the agents are built for.

Two things are worth watching. Will an agent tuned to one brand’s warranty policy hold up when a US retailer’s policy is more complex? And will the Austin move change where Claimlane hires? Aftersales decides whether a customer buys again, and the brands that hand that moment to software will show it in their repeat-purchase numbers. The opportunity is clear, so let’s build it!
