Founded 2024 · Spain
Kabilio, the Barcelona AI accounting platform run by co-CEOs Jose Ojeda and Álex Valls, has raised €10 million from Picus Capital and Visionaries, with Spain’s CDTI taking part, to finish an AI agent that carries out bookkeeping tasks for accounting firms.
Kabilio has raised €14 million in total since its €4 million pre-seed of November 2025, and both lead investors of that first round led this one too. Below, we lay out the round, the company, the market and what the pattern suggests.

Picus Capital and Visionaries return with €10M
Kabilio announced the €10 million round on November 5, 2026, as reported by The Next Web and The Officer. Neither names a stage, so we call it a round. Picus Capital and Visionaries Club led, and CDTI, Spain’s public agency for technology and innovation, participated. Both leads also backed the pre-seed, and the total raised now stands at €14 million.
According to The Officer, the money goes to three jobs: distributing Kabilio Empresas, completing the AI accounting agent, and growing the product, technology and support teams.
From about 100 accounting firms to nearly 500
Kabilio employs 80 people in Barcelona, per TNW. Its platform reads invoices, suggests bookings, matches bank transactions and flags anomalies, and the accountant signs off on each step. The company says this cuts bookkeeping and reconciliation time by about 60 percent, a figure we could not verify independently. TNW reports that it serves nearly 500 accounting firms, up from about 100 a year earlier.
The new money funds the next layer. The agent is built to collect invoices and bank statements from inboxes, reconcile accounts, chase missing documents and message clients by email or WhatsApp. Firms set what it may do alone, client by client. A beta starts in November, and The Officer says it will be shown at Accountex España in Madrid on November 18-19. Kabilio Empresas, launched in September, lets small businesses invoice, connect their bank accounts and track cash flow on the platform their accountant already uses.
The €4 million pre-seed backed the bookkeeping software. The €10 million funds an agent that carries out tasks.
A 38.4 percent growth curve and no published total
KBV Research (August 2025) forecasts Europe’s AI in accounting market to grow at 38.4 percent a year over 2025-2032, with France at 39.5 percent and the UK at 37 percent. Its public page gives no total for Europe. It does state one country figure: Germany at $3,297.6 million by 2032. We found no other credible European size for this segment.
Scale for the amount comes from a rival. Ravical, the Belgian AI platform for accounting firms, raised a $17 million seed on October 29, 2026, about €15.3 million at that day’s rate. Kabilio’s €10 million is roughly two thirds of that. Kabilio grew its firm count about fivefold in twelve months while the forecast market grows 38.4 percent a year, and that gap sits at the center of this round.
Two accounting-AI rounds in one week
We are seeing two approaches to accounting software funded in the same week. Ravical builds one platform for a whole firm’s judgment, and Kabilio started with bookkeeping hours and is moving to finished tasks, with the accountant setting the limits. The two rounds landed within seven days of each other. The Sesamers fundraising data tracks the rest of the European rounds.
Imagine if a Spanish accountant opened Monday with the invoices already gathered, the bank lines already matched and the late payers already reminded. That is the product the beta will test. We will watch how much of that work firms let the agent do unattended, and whether small-business clients accept messages from an agent that writes to them through their accountant. If you advise accounting firms, the Madrid demo shows what that looks like.
Watch the Madrid demo on November 18-19, and keep your eye on the firm count.
