The Startup Contest is run at Infoshare in Gdansk. It is open to seed and early-stage startups with tech4good solutions addressing at least one of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals; applicants submit a pitch deck, and entries are judged on business potential, team, product innovation and pitch performance.
Twenty finalists each receive two Startup Passes giving access to all conference stages, matchmaking and networking, plus media exposure through partner outlets and GPU vouchers. They share a prize pool of EUR 30,000 funded by the Mayor of Gdansk, with EUR 20,000 in cash for the winner, who also takes a wild card into the InCredibles mentoring programme. No equity is taken.
The last documented call closed on 14 March 2025, with semifinals on 27 May and the final on 28 May 2025 in Gdansk. Infoshare returns to AmberExpo on 19-20 May 2027; the next contest call has not been published.
