SuperScout is location management software for film commissions, production companies, location managers and freelance scouts. Users build a private database of every location on each project, share options with colleagues and clients, and find any location they have visited in seconds. The product debuted at the Berlinale in early 2024 and is selling an early version to early adopters.
SuperScout is run from London by DBMA Ltd. Gabriel Isserlis is founder and CEO, Alan Jay, co-founder of IMDb and Digital Spy, is chief commercial officer, and Dharmil Trivedi is CTO. Customers include the BBC, English Heritage and film offices in 14 countries. The company received a MyWorld (UKRI) grant with Digital Catapult for its iOS companion app in 2024 and took part in Creative UK’s investment readiness program. No priced equity round has been disclosed.
SuperScout was one of five European finalists at the Zinemaldia Startup Challenge 2026.
