TheGreenShot is a sustainability data platform for the entertainment industry. It measures, reduces and reports the environmental impact of film, TV and advertising productions from traceable production data, and describes itself as a green ERP for the sector. It is the most mature company in the 2026 cohort: the festival lists it as selling to its main market, Forbes Belgique reported €7.2 million in 2024 revenue against €300,000 in 2022, and the company counts more than 400 clients.
TheGreenShot was founded in Brussels in June 2021. Max Hermans is founder, Véronique Pevtschin is CEO and Thierry Hermans is CTO. It bought Ooviiz (France) in 2023 and Earth Angel (United States) in May 2024. In December 2025 Banijay picked it for global carbon reporting; other clients include Fremantle and HBO.
Its growth has been financed through debt and grants. finance&invest.brussels lent €500,000 in July 2023, Triodos Bank extended a €1.5 million working-capital credit in October 2025, and Creative Europe MEDIA and ERDF funds have backed its data work. Forbes Belgique reported in February 2026 that the company had never raised from outside shareholders and was preparing a €5-6 million round.
TheGreenShot was one of five European finalists at the Zinemaldia Startup Challenge 2026.
