HaMo is a real-time animation system that drives interactive digital characters by combining animation techniques live, with patented motion capture and Unreal Engine integration. It targets animated series, promotional content and interactive formats, and is selling an early version to early adopters.
HaMo comes from Paramotion Films, a Spanish animation studio with more than 20 years of work for clients including RTVE’s Clan, Universal Pictures and Sesame Street. José Luis Farías, a Paramotion partner who also runs the 3D Wire market and the Quirino Awards, leads the project. HaMo was presented at Annecy’s Next Lab Generation in June 2025. No outside funding has been disclosed.
HaMo was one of five Spanish finalists at the Zinemaldia Startup Challenge 2026.
